First things first, it is not possible to be confused between an ego feeling, and a feeling from your True Self. It’s one, or the other.
The two cannot exist in the same reality, because the nature of each is completely opposite.
Your True Self is of certainty, your ego is of confusion.
Your True Self is of clarity, your ego is of complication.
Your True Self is of peace, your ego is of chaos.
Therefore, it is easy to tell the difference, and it will be obvious to you which is which. All you have to do is ask yourself how you feel, right now.
If you don’t know, let me tell you. The fact that you’re trying to figure out if its ego or intuition, is the indication that you’re in ego. The telling sign is that you’re confused and uncertain.
You think your clarity is found in figuring out which is which, but in reality, your clarity is found from ceasing your thinking all together.
You’re overthinking. That’s it! And you’re doing it because you’re used to it.
You don’t need to solve any problems, or figure anything out, you just need to slow down, and relax.
Your True Self can only communicate to you when you do that, anyways, so it’s pointless to keep trying.
Your best practice in telling if its True Self or ego, is by checking in with how you feel. Your True Self exists only when you feel good. When you feel at peace, or even joyous. It communicates in that place, in the present.
Meditate, slow down, check in. The answer is always right here, just waiting for you to recognize it.
